Milkmen & Related Ticket Stubs

Various ticket stubs. I saw the band so many times, but have few stubs. Most Philly shows were pay at door and no tickets issued.

This was for a show with Philadelphia’s Trained Attack Dogs and Austin, Texas
based band, Glass Eye at the defunct, amazing Chestnut Cabaret. Glass Eye
featured Brian Beattie, Dead Milkmen producer. This is a Dean Clean
illustration.

Check that early, Sunday, all-ages start time…

Here are a few shots taken backstage in Cincinnati at the “Bogarts” club one night. I think that the photo credits go to Dan Mapp – our tour manager. This first one shows Dave warming up, Joe working on the set list, Rodney is redecorating, and I’m sipping tea.

Joe says you can’t see the set list until show time!

Rodney providing the world with much needed Chieftains graffitti.

Joe and I “shooting-up” in the mens room…(sorry!)

This is a pass from the “Amuck In America” tour we did with Mojo Nixon and the Cavedogs. We were all on Enigma Records at the time and Fuji Film sponsored a tour that we went on together (they gave us all film camera’s). Two busses – a bad boy bus and the good boy bus (my key – from the “good boy” bus – is still on there!). A VERY fun tour with plenty of stories…

Here we are in front of the Atomium in Belgium on tour in 1992. We took a tour of this place. The Atomium was built for the 1958 Worlds Fair and was recently refurbished.

When we toured Europe we often played the local “Youth Center” in towns. The show was downstairs and then the bands would sometimes stay upstairs. Here’s a typical bunk. Plush eh?

Here’s me on tour in Europe in 1992. I think this is in the Netherlands? During my “only wear solid colored T-shirts and an old T-shirt sleeve on my wrist” period!
